Our Services

The Quality of Life Clinic schedules appointments on Tuesdays and Thursdays of each week. At your visit, your health care team will address any long-term physical side effects that you may be experiencing as a result of past treatments. We also will offer counseling to those who wish to explore any emotional issues related to their cancer.

The team will compile a list of the treatments you had as a patient and then discuss the possible long-term side effects of those treatments.

We will give you guidance about factors that may affect your future health and ways to improve your quality of life. The summary we provide will serve as a useful guide to you and your primary care doctor.

For those who want to meet with other survivors of childhood cancers, we offer a variety of support and educational programs.

In caring for survivors, we also are engaged in research studies aimed at improving the health status of survivors and the treatments given to today's patients. These studies will help physicians better inform their patients about risks of cancer treatments and possibly reduce those risks by offering innovative therapies. During your visit, you may learn more about possible participation in our research programs.
