    As a team leader in Information Systems at Dana-Farber, and as a father of four girls, John is a busy man. But he still makes sure that he gets home each night in time for dinner and to put his 8-year-old triplets to bed. "Here in IS, we have a process for approving projects so that we focus on top priorities," says John. "I'd like to find a way to prioritize at home, too." read more

Dana-Farber hires its first vice president for diversity

Robert Amelio

Robert Amelio, MSW, MS, director of workplace learning and performance at Harvard Medical School, will join Dana-Farber as its first vice president for diversity. The Institute is the only hospital in the Boston area that has created such a position.
